Well, Ishiguro Atsuki's withdrawal from AKB48 was announced on June 22nd and it seems that the scandal was the reason for it.

The AKB48 administration holds "AKB48 research member selection," which is like a long term audition, and if the research member fails the judgement, they have to leave AKB48.

On the 12th, they held the "AKB48 research member selection", and Atsuki failed the judgement, although she was 40th place on the AKB48 general elections. �It is said that the reason why she failed was because of her leaked boyfriend sticker picture.

On AKB48's official site, she posted a comment saying, "Thank you for supporting me, even though it was a very short time. �Now, I'm full of gratitude."

We don't know if she'll stay in the entertainment industry yet, but let's wish her the best of luck.

You may think the idol rules are too strict, but she is not the first one to withdraw from AKB48 because of a boyfriend scandal.
