Since late last year, activities have been quiet for Japanese Visual-Kei group, The GazettE. Yet fans are finding the wait quite worth their while as the group will be coming back with a new single on July 21st in three special editions. The upcoming release, "SHIVER," will be the band's first since their record label switch to Sony Music and it will act as the opening theme to the second season of the gothic anime Kuroshitsuji(Black Butler). The single will contain three tracks, the title track "SHIVER," "HESITATING MEANS DEATH," and "Naraku."
Sony is making the release an extravagant debut on their label by creating three different versions: a regular CD, CD+DVD limited edition, and a special Kuroshitsuji version. The regular single will have all three tracks on it, but "Naraku" will not be included on the other two versions. The limited edition will instead come packaged with a DVD containing the music video and making of for "SHIVER." The Kuroshitsuji version will also come with different tracks and will only have "SHIVER," the television version of the title track, and a DVD with the opening animation.
The future is looking exciting for The GazettE as the end of July not only marks the release of this Sony single, but also the beginning of their live 2010 tour.
