AKB48’s team photobooks all place within TOP 3 on Oricon rankings

On July 22nd, AKB48 released 3 photobooks, each of which featured a team, and all 3 books got TOP 3 on the Oricon weekly photobook ranking for the week of August 2nd.

Below are the first week sales:

1. AKB48 VISUAL BOOK 2010 featuring team A – 20,000 copies

2.AKB48 VISUAL BOOK 2010 featuring team B – 19,000 copies

3. AKB48 VISUAL BOOK 2010 featuring team K – 18,000 copies

It seems like anything about AKB48 sells quite well these days.
