A complement event for upcoming movie "Sakurada mongai no hen" was held on the 25th and cast members showed up in Mito, Ibaraki, where they have built a massive set replica of the Sakuradamon gate of Edo Castle.
"Sakurada mongai no hen" is based on a novel which depicts the assassination of Japanese Chief Minister Ii Naosuke by 17 Ronin Samurai of the Mito Domain.
Osawa Takao is the lead actor and he greeted 2,000 fans, "When we held the shoot in cold weather during Feburuary, volunteer staff and extras cheered us with smiles and it encouraged me."
"Sakurada mongai no hen" will be released on October 16th.
