Shiina Ringo in new glico CM
Japanese rock/jazz band Tokyo Jihen has just been selected to provide the song for the new glico watering kiss mint commercials. The new song, “Dopaminto!,” will play during the commercials that feature the lead singer Shiina Ringo.
In the commercial Shiina Ringo shows off the new watering line of gum from glico. She plays a tourist in Japan and steps off her tour bus and as she walks water columns sprout up out of the ground. The CM culminates in a giant water fountain that is as refreshing as the gum.
The new song “Dopaminto!” was written specifically for the commercial. Shiina Ringo wrote the lyrics for the song and it will be available for PC download and Chaku-Uta cell download on July 28th. Tokyo Jihen’s official website has a 15 second and 30 second version of the commercial up for fans to watch. It is free streaming through Windows Media Player, so make sure you check it out!
