The CM song for “Tokyo metro” which Aragaki Yui stars in, has grabbed viewers attention.  There has been many inquiries about the “Tokyo metro” CM, many people have been asking what song it is and who the singer is.

The CM began airing on April 1st, and as soon as it started, it became a hot topic on the internet.  Some viewers said, “The song makes my heart warm” and “The lyrics touch me.”

Well, the mysterious singer is Takahashi Yu.  Yu is not well known, but has been active in the indie scene.  The song for the CM is “Fukuwarai” and it was written and composed by him.

Now, Yu will debut as a major singer and release a single title “Subarashiki Hibi” on the 21st.  Looks like he’s caught his big break!
