Every chain of McDonalds restaurants around the world have a unique set of menus that cater specifically to their own unique customers.� The food on those menus might be strange to us in America, but it sure isn't odd to them.� As is customary, once a food that originated in another country enters Japan, it will generally be altered to the liking of the Japanese palette.

Well, McDonalds Japan is now celebrating the anniversary of their unique 'Moon Burger'.� It was first launched in 1990 and has been really famous in Japan. It�s just the usual burger topped with egg, bacon, cheese, and a condiment called �aurora creamy tomato mayonnaise�, which is just ketchup and mayonnaise mixed together and given a sophisticated name. In celebration for this acclaimed Japan-ized burger, McDonalds launched the 'Great Moon Burger', which all have a patty twice the size of the regular Moon Burger.

No need to fret about the size though, as this burger only has 716 calories, so eat away people!
