SNSD to attend Girls Award 2010 AUTUMN/WINTER

It’s been reported that popular Korean Group Shoujo Jidai (SNSD) is scheduled to make an appearance at Japan’s biggest fashion show titled “Girls Award 2010 AUTUMN/WINTER” in Kokuritsu Yoyogi Kyougijyou on September 18th.

SNSD successfully held their Premium Showcase Live at Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo and will be releasing their debut single titled “GENIE” on September 8th. Girls Award is the biggest fashion show in Japan and is very popular with many teenagers and young adults. It’s also known for a fusion of a popular pop music and a fashion show attended by many famous models and artists. The artists and models attending the event this year include ISSAXSoulJa, W-inds, Kumi Koda, 4Minute, Yuri Ebihara, Aki Hoshino, Leah Dizon, Moe Oshikiri, JAY’ED, May J, Marie, Hinano Yoshikawa and more. The brand names to participate in this fashion show include alternative, Armani Exchange, Bapy (reprise), dazzlin, EMODA, FOREVER21 and more.

    I think it’s stupid to make a kpop group article on tokyohive when jpop acts are there. Shouldn’t it be about the jpop acts more? Since it’s in Japan. SNSD hasn’t sold a damn record yet and they are acts that sold millions that is going there. So why make a article about them? Bias Much?

    #2 I kinda agree. But with so many comments regarding to “S/mileage vs SNSD”,Tokyohive would definitely post more SNSD articles to boost the traffic and click rate.

    Because they are amazing! And very-very loved by sones around the world.
    And now they are in jpop, so they have a full right to bee there.
    Well about “sold millions”…Let’s wait and see, a swear, their sale will be totally amazing, cuze if you see New Beginning DVD on Oricon they sell 30,977 for 3 weeks) Pretty good, right?)

    It’s not their fault that they are invited to a very cool event)))

    #4 No! That’s the reason why JPop fans don’t come here to tokyohive and stay on livejournal. They don’t have to worry about bias and know they will not get bashed by kpop fans.

    @5 I like Tokyohive, nice and quiet and everything and the articles are good most of the time. But whenever a k-pop groups is mentioned,all hell seems to break loose.

    But even though i'm 99% Kpop biased…..shouldn't articles be about Jpop groups and soloists XD

    This site is for popular culture in Japan. It doesn’t say ethnic Japanese groups and soloists only. SNSD is now doing promotions in Japan, hence they will be covered. When AKB48 went to Korea, allkpop covered them. Why? Because they were doing promotions and performances in Korea. Common sense.

    By the way, almost all of the writers are completely different from the ones at allkpop, so you can quit it with the whole bias thing. Not everything is a conspiracy.

    Furthermore, we do attempt to cover as many Japanese artists as possible. The way some of you comment, it’s like all the posts are SNSD related, which is not true.

    I think #2 just mad because 99% ppl here are kpop biased
    we don’t see jpop fans dissing kpop(as a whole) but I do see kpop fans diss jpop(as a whole) remember the heavy rotation news??? In the sex sells article Kansei wrote, I saw people saying stuff like jpop is slutty while kpop is pure and how kpop Is better then jpop when they are different cultures with different tastes and targets.

    I know that some Kpop fans can be bashing like heck but hey you guys try not to notice and insult a Kpop artist back, be the mature ones and not act like rude Kpop fans can be, I am a Kpop fan but I dont bash Jpop artists at all, act mature in this :) Please? that makes you people the bigger one, just keep your eyes and ears and all on those artists you love ^__^ I am a KAT-TUN fan resantly so I am on the Jpop side too

    try and not act the same way back, then u be the bigger and maturer ones, maybe then Kpop fans stop as well I am not sure but its a better way than start fight with each other nothing good comes out of that and the fights between Jpop and Kpop fans will never stop it gotta stop, Kpop fans fine you like ur artists(I am a Kpop fan firstly as well) but please only do that if you find Jpop not your style just let it be and Jpop fans it goes the same way if you dont find Kpop your style just let it be and just focus on ur favorite music, to my part I love both parts very much I start to like Jpop and Jpop fans more even tho I am a Kpop fan I still love kpop like crazy super junior my love
