VKB428 holds first live!

VKB428 is a new visual-kei male group, and their name stands for Visual Kei Boys SHIBUYA (428), and it consists with seven boys who were chosen out of over 2,000 candidates.  They will add more members later on, and they will be divided into three teams, V-team (main), K-team (sub), and B-team (replacements).

VKB428 will hold a live stage at “VKB428 Theater Shibuya” every week, and the members of each team for the next performance will be decided before each stage by fan vote.

Anyway, VKB428 held their first live on August 21st, and they performed 4 songs on their stage. Their next performance will be held on September 25th.

We will report more details about them as they are revealed.

i-wha-huh…. im completely mindfucked right now… and im having a hard time processing this [maybe cuz its late and im running on 3 hours of sleep]
soo theyre a a jrock version of AKB48?
theres 7 of them…yet in the bottom pic none are playing instruments… jrock… instruments…visual kei…instruments…epicness…instruments @_@ brain does not compute this
when i think of vk im thinking of a nice little setup including a bassist drummer bout 2 guitarist and a vocalist and the fun that you get when u tell ppl that all of the members are guys kekeke
    but enough rambling…
this is very different i must say… and im quite curious as to how this will play out… though i wish the group and the boys and guys who will join in the future success!! :D
now if youll excuse me ima go to bed…and maybe come back with a better and decent comment…or just to see others reactions :P

So it’s KINDA like AKB48 but not really .__. That’s….a first. Normally, when you think Visual Kei, you imagine a band (As in, with instruments and stuff) rather than….a singing group. But it doesn’t really matter anyways, since Visual Kei is a style rather than a music genre. It makes sense, it’s just weird lol.

damn even visual kei band is going down this route…i dont consider them a band…..

@4 yeah me either as of this point. they’ll be more like a singing group that focuses on visual kei.
But I’m so curious, how the hell will this work out? xD
But I sort of feel bad for B-team, the replacements . . .

    hmm VK version of AKB48
    sounds interesting~
    cant wait!
love visual kei, so this is gonna be great~
i just hope that they will actually be a jrock band and not turn out to just be a new boy band
*dont get me wrong, i love boy bands
but if they use visual kei as part of their group name, they better live up to it
