BIG BANG’s appearance on NiTele’s “DON!”
Nihon TV’s program “Don!” featured a 10-minute special on Korean boy group BIG BANG on September 1st, airing an exclusive interview with the boys and a detailed introduction of the members with Korean MC Kang TaeYoo. The interview covered topics such as the members favorite foods, their practice schedules in Japan, interesting differences in the Japanese entertainment industry, and their ideal types.
The interviewers asked Japanese shoppers at the Korean shops in Shin-Okubo about their attraction to BIG BANG.
“They give off a ‘cute’ image at first, but when they dance or sing, they’re suddenly really cool,” said one fan. Another: “Some of them are very beautiful singers and also there’s the very cool husky rap … When you see [BIG BANG] … they leave an impression.”
