"COPPELION" is a manga written by Inoue Tomonori.� The story is set in 2036 Tokyo, and the once bustling metropolis has become a� ghost town due an accident at a nuclear power plant in Odaiba.� Tokyo has been neglected for 20 years since the accident, and it is still contaminated with nuclear radiation.

Three high school girls by the names of Ibara, Aoi, and Taeko all possess special DNA which makes them immune to the effect of the radiation.� As a result, they are appointed to the special forces and given the task to save survivors in Tokyo.
