KARA’s Gyuri is a goddess even in Japan

KARA’s leader Park Gyuri is known as the nation’s goddess, but did you know her goddess reputation extends beyond Korea?

In a recent recording of MBC’s Flower Bouquet, Park Gyuri revealed how her Japanese fans treated her during her stay in Japan. In the recording studio, the goddess stated, “Even in Japan, they call me megamisama [translates to goddess].”

She later added, “The title of a goddess is something that one should flow with.  Now, I believe that I really am a goddess.”

This episode will air on the 5th.

    Okay, Park Gyuri is pretty but a goddess for the Japanese? That’s a big no-no. The only Japanese singer goddess that I can think of is Ayumi Hamasaki. Oh, and by the way, that’s so funny of her to boast that she’s called as GODDESS in Japan. I sooo doubt that!

    People shouldn’t bash her for it. It’s actually her concept. Her mother have said before Gyuri is actually shy person. ^ ^
    Beside it’s the fans that start calling her that in the first place don’t blame her.
