MUCC kicks off Japanese tour before heading to Europe

Rock band MUCC kicked off their nationwide “MUCC Tour 2010 ‘Chemical Parade’” tour yesterday in Hibiya in celebration of their latest album, “Karma“. After they wrap up their tour in Japan, they revealed that they will jet off to Europe for their “‘Chemical Parade’ in EURO” tour!

Their European tour has been long awaited for by fans overseas, and will start in Moscow on January 15th.  There will be six performances across five different countries before they reach their final stop in Paris on January 23rd.

MUCC also announced that they would be performing a special two day show at the Nippon Budokan on May 21st and 22nd.  Although it will be two performances in a row at the same venue, the shows will be entirely different.  The first day will be the conclusion of the “Chemical Parade” tour, while the second show will be titled “MUCC history GIGS 97~11” which covers all the music from MUCC’s entire career to date.

On top of all this, the band has also announced that they will be releasing a concert DVD on February 14th titled, “WINTER CIRCUIT 2010 @ NHK Hall.”  The DVD has footage from their February 2010 live shows at the Tokyo and Osaka NHK Halls, so fans can live vicariously through their intense performance and watch it again and again.

Whew, looks like MUCC will have quite the busy season ahead of them!
