Pop singer Kimura Kaela has just announced a new single for the holiday season.� It will be called "A winter fairy is melting a snowman" and is scheduled to be released on December 8th.

Kimura Kaela just gave birth to her first child last month, but that obviously isn't slowing down her singing activities.� This will be her first release since giving birth and will be her 16th single of her career.� The single has already been chosen as the campaign theme song for NTT DoCoMo's "Hitori to Hitotsu. walk with you."� The new CM will start airing on television on November 12th and will be posted up on the official NTT DoCoMo site.� The coupling track, "orange," was announced previously as the theme song to the movie "Cheburashka."� Both tracks were produced by Watanabe Shinobu (from ASPARAGUS), but they will have very different styles.

The single will be available in a limited first press version called "A winter fairy is melting a snowman (X'mas ver.)" which will contain a download ID for Chaku-Uta.� It will give a free Christmas download to the user, but only during Christmas Day.

Columbia Records has opened a special site just for the Christmas single which features interviews from Kimura Kaela.� They will continue to add more content as it becomes available.
