“Skapara” to sing theme songs for “ONE PIECE” & “Toriko” 3D anime films
Nine member Ska band, “Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra” (aka Skapara) will be contributing their talents for the theme songs of “ONE PIECE 3D” and “Toriko 3D“.
The producer, Shimizu Shinji, confessed that he is a big fan of Skapara, and that he was already hearing the ‘Skapara sound’ in his head while “ONE PIECE 3D” was still in its development stages.
Skapara members also commented, “Like how One Piece is on a never-ending journey full of friendship and love, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra is also on a never-ending journey for music. We are very honored about this, and we will put all the powers of our 9 members into it.”
The films, which have been double-billed under “Jump HEROES FILM“, are scheduled for release on March 19th 2011.
