D-BOYS special unit, D☆DATE, held the release event on December 5th for their debut single “Ato 1cm no Mirai“. After they performed the song, they told the 3,500-member audience, “We would like to make an announcement!”

The announcement actually came in three-parts: the boys explained that they will release their second single next spring, that they will star in a CM, and that they will hold a live concert. Needless to say, the venue was pierced with the jubilant screams of their fans.

On a side note, D☆DATE also commented about their strong relationship as a group. Although they are technically a five member unit, member Nakamura Yuichi was unable to participate in their debut promotions due to a backache. Consequently, when the members saw fans with goods featuring Nakamura’s name, they happily stated, ”It made us realize that we debuted as 5 members.”
