Visual Kei band Kra has announced that their guitarist Mai will be retiring from the group, making his farewell live at their December 28th concert at the Shibuya C.C. Lemon Hall.

Mai has stated that the reason for his departure from the group stems from a previous health condition.� After much discussion with the band and the staff, he has decided that it would be best for him to retire from performing and concentrate on receiving medical treatment.� After his departure, Kra will continue on as a three member group with Keiyuu (vocals), Yura (bass), and Yasuno (drums).

We wish him the best, and we don't blame him for the decision given the rash of deaths that seem to have struck the Visual Kei scene recently.
