MINMI, Wakadanna, and Candle JUNE raise money for Haiti
A special event live titled “LOVE for HAITI” is scheduled to be held on January 12th at the SHIBUYA-AX.
The event will be held to help raise money for the Haiti citizens who were hurt by the huge earthquake that shook the nation back in January. This special “LOVE for HAITI” charity project was founded by reggae singers MINMI and Wakadanna (Shounen Kaze), and also artist Candle JUNE. From February on through April they will help to host four other live events across Japan and will look to collect donations at different festivals and concerts.
The trio wanted to host the event one year after the earthquake in memoriam and have put together a special band called “LOVE FOR HAITI SPECIAL HOUSE BAND” for the occasion. The band mainly features MINMI and Wakadanna and will perform at the events.
