Singer Kimura Kaela announced back in October that she had given birth to a healthy baby boy, but has been quietly staying out of the spotlight in order to care for her newborn baby. Fortunately for Kimura Kaela fans, it seems like she's going to be making a comeback soon!

The pop singer revealed on February 14th that she'll be appearing on candy company Meiji's new commercial for the gum "KAWARU XYLISH". Meiji has added a new twist to their popular "XYLISH" brand�with gums that change flavors; one changes from grapefruit to mint, the other from cola to mint. In order to visually show that the flavor of the gum changes as you chew, Kimura will also make an interesting transformation in the CM.

When asked about the costume she had to don for her latest endorsement, Kimura admitted, "It was kind of embarassing. When I looked in the mirror... even though it was just me, I was surprised." Although she gradually became used to it over the course of the shoot, the star also felt a little uncomfortable with the small yellow box she had to contain herself in. "It was really hard (to sit like that)," stated Kimura. "My abs hurt."

A special line of colorful sneakers and socks will also be available to promote the sale of Meiji's new gum, which can be seen in both the '15 sec' version and the '30 sec' version. Both versions of the commercial can be viewed here on Meiji's official website.
