Teaser revealed for V6 + ☆Taku Takahashi’s collaboration track
Pop group V6 and m-flo’s producer, ☆Taku Takahashi, will be teaming up to deliver a theme song for the upcoming movie, “SP: Kakumei Hen”!
The song will be titled “SP: Break The Wall feat.V6 & ☆Taku Takahashi (m-flo)”. V6 will provide the vocals, while DJ Taku has been put in charge of producing the track. Indeed, DJ ☆Taku was specifically requested by REVOLUTIONS – an anonymous group of music composers who are in charge of the project – because of the “revolution” the producer caused with his innovative production skills. After accepting the offer, DJ ☆Taku requested for V6 to also participate, since their member Okuda Junichi is acting in the movie.
When asked about his thoughts on the collaboration, V6 member Sakamoto Masayuki commented,“☆Taku-san makes the coolest songs, so it’s different from the usual [things we do]. It brought out the charm of the new V6.”
There are currently no plans to make this into an official single release, but the song will be available as a ringtone beginning on March 2nd.
