Ayumi Hamasaki and ViVi collaborate to design T-shirt for earthquake relief

Charity T-shirt designed by Ayumi Hamasaki and ViVi

It’s been revealed that J-pop princess Ayumi Hamasaki has collaborated with fashion magazine ViVi to produce a charity T-shirt for disaster relief.

Since the initial earthquake on March 11th, Hamasaki has been using Twitter to spread information for victims of the disaster. She continues her helpful efforts with the “Hamasaki Ayumi x ViVi Collabo Charity T-Shirt“, which was designed with the concept of “Love and Hope for Everyone!” All proceeds from the T-shirt will be donated to fund disaster relief efforts.

The shirt will be sold at the online shop mu-mo from March 17th to March 31st, and is open to international fans as well. If you are interested, you can find out details here.

    Hopefully people can stop saying Japanese celebs aren’t doing anything… because they’re doing a lot. And it doesn’t have to be in donations either. Many have been doing so much since day 1 of the earthquake. And actually I think many fans loved reading those encouraging tweets their favorite celebs wrote & really felt like their celeb cared for them. So I wish people didn’t badmouth prayers & concerns so badly because psychologically this is a big deal. I wanna try to buy a shirt but I would have to postpone the LP shirt

    i totally agree!!!
    the Japanese celebs are helping more. I follow AAA and Ayu on twitter, from all their tweets since the disaster (besides twitting encouraging messages) they have been telling their fans where to go get food, gas, shelter and informing them about whats happening. it just shows us that even though they are celebs they are facing the same problems as every one else and they will overcome this disaster together with their fans. That’s why these celebs are my idols, they never see themselves as something greater than their fans.

    Beside the disaster does Ayu or Avex own a huge share of ViVi because Ayumi or some Avex singers usually appear on the cover a lot.

    i’m sorry i honestly don’t like ayumi hamasaki that much, but i am willing to get the tshirt for this good cause. i’m glad that she is doing this to help those in need.

    You have to get an account through Tenso and they will give you a JPN address and they will be the oens to actually ship it to you (what happens is you make a Tenso account… then when you order off certain cites and they ask for an address, you input the one that Tenso gave you… then the site will ship your item to Tenso, and then Tenso will do the international shipping. I never used Tenso before/yet but I did make an account. ) The thing that will boost up the cost will be the shipping fee from Tenso I believe or something like that ^^;; Don’t quote me on the latter part

    Yeah the registration part on tenso confused me a bit because some of it was in Japanese but I registered successfully and I’m going to try and order a shirt tomorrow thanks for your help! ^^
