"Kimi to Boku" anime adaptation in the works

allkpop

It's was recently revealed in the April issue of manga magazine Monthly G Fantasy that Hotta Kiichi's manga "Kimi to Boku" will be made into a TV anime!

"Kimi to Boku" started its serialization in Monthly G Fantasy in 2004, and is a teenage comedy that focuses on the adventures of five high school boys. The main characters consist of the handsome twins Asaba Yuuta and Yuuki, feminine boy Matsuoka Shun, class president Tsukahara Kaname and moodmaker Tachibana Chizuru.

The drama CDs released back in 2005 and 2006 featured a star-studded voice acting cast playing the lead roles: Kaida Yuki (Yuta), Minagawa Junko (Yuki), Kugimiya Rie (young Shun), Takayama Minami (Shun), Paku Romi (young Kaname), Suzumura Kenichi (Kaname), and Takeuchi Junko (Chizuru).

Although the anime's air date and cast has not yet been revealed, it will be interesting to see which voice actors will reprise their roles, and how the manga's relaxed humor will carry over to the television screen.
