Pop duo Sweet Vacation have revealed that they are going on hiatus.
The announcement was made today after a special UStream broadcast entitled,�"UST Vacation Special: RE:Futurythm @ Daikanyama Unit." The duo stated that "the best-of album will start a long-term vacation." The hiatus has been mutually agreed upon by both Daichi and May.
Members Daichi and May have left individual comments on their official website. Daichi said, "Everyone, thank you for supporting us. For now, Sweet Vacation will be taking a break, but let's meet again in the future. All the best, and have fun!" May said, "Sweet Vacation has decided to take a break. For now, I'll be doing TV and magazine work, but I'd like to do music again someday."
Sweet Vacation's first best-of album,�"Swee Vaca no Early Best +8" will be released on April 13th. It will include 16 songs, including their new song "Catch Me Now."
May will be transferring to Sky Corporation, where she will continue her activities.
