What is your favorite “thank you” song?

Recochoku recently held a poll asking users to vote for their favorite “thank you” song, and the results are in!

Topping the list was Ikimonogakari’s hit song “Arigatou,” which – as its name implies – expresses a person’s gratitude toward a loved one. Nishino Kana’s song, “Best Friend”, was also popular with voters because of its lyrics, which thank a close friend for being there through thick and thin.

    i don’t know a lot of jpop but i LOVE some of them…instead of my girl..i’m actually expecting 5×10 to be on there though O.o 5×10 is such a nice thank you song~

    (I don’t really listen to any of these people so I’ll just share my own favorite ^^)

    Probably Ayu’s RED LINE ~for TA~ (though it’s caught between like an encouraging song and a thank you like song ^^) “Virgin Road” by Ayyu kinda comes off as a thank you song too… it was a song for her mother I heard ^^

    Niceee list. Ikimono gakari’s Arigatou is by far my fave thank you song because of its wonderful lyrics, melody & Kiyoe Yoshioka’s voice. Rest of the artists & thank you songs up there are absolutely brilliant too ^_^

    As many others mentioned 5×10 should have been on the list instead of My Girl(eventhough I love My Girl), 5×10 is really touching and beautiful!

    Arashi’s “5×10″ for me <3 My eternal favorite thank you song <3 I never get tired of listening to it <3 It's a song that I can listen to for hours on repeat (and I have xD) <3 I was expecting 5×10 to be there actually. My girl's pretty good too but 5×10 tops all for me <3

    Arashi’s 5×10 is a great song but i would prefer “Kansha Kangeki Ame Arashi”, kansha is more way better in my opinion,

    Although she may not be famous, I find Kokis’s Arigatou to be one of the best thank you song. You can feel how beautiful it is even if you don’t speak Japanese.

    Wow, my picks were way off. I’d say “Thank You” by Home Made Kazoku, “Kansha Kangeki Ame Arashi” by Arashi, or “Happy Summer Wedding” by Morning Musume.
