I think that if I were to become an AKB fan, it would be because of her. I was surprised that she didn’t make it as an 8kki member, because she’s such a great singer, but I just love her voice. It’s so easy to listen to.

I love that collaboration she had w/ Tokunaga Hideaki. He’s really quite the legend in the Japanese music industry and I think it’s really nice that he’s collaborated w/ Tomochin before & now Yukirin. This song really showcases her voice too. So for those who’s still doubtful about Yuki’s “real voice” or if she’s just lip-syncing all this time, this song should prove that some AKB girls can really sing well ;)

The only problem is there are other “jpop fans” and kpop fanatics that are either:
1. ignoramus and do not research before commenting
2. or who have crab mentality

She has already proven that she can sing WAAAY back when she auditioned for Morning Musume (except she really looked nerdy that time), same goes for Ayaka Umeda of Team K and Sumire Sato of Team B that also auditioned for MM. Sumire Sato made it to the finals, but bad choice for Tsunku that he picked someone else.

Fortunately, everyone he rejected are in the other idol group that’s getting the limelight nowadays. I guess it is their destiny to be in AKB48 :D

Imo, all 3 girls from no3b/no sleeves sing at Yukirin level. Acchan, the debuting soloist is also quite good. But whatever, people will just always say ‘AKB can’t sing’, it’s a lot easier.

…did you even watch the second video? yukis singing was actually really good! i know i was impressed when i heard it.
i think saying something like “Plz do not bring any of musical ability when you refer to AKB!!!” is being quite stereotypical. have you listened to all 48 members singing ability individually to know that they arent good singers?

That’s true, and no3b is okay for me, but I just Yukirin’s voice a lot more. It just speaks to me a little bit. Also, I have no idea what Imo means. I’ve been trying to figure it out for a few months, but I don’t get it.

Wow. Yuki really does have a nice voice but only in the second video. I don’t think her voice is fit for the cute idol scene. Her voice is too…full and vibrant. Nice slow songs like the second video really show off her vocals. Like when she did Koi ing. She honestly should have been the first of the AKB girls to get a solo -_-

No offense, I don’t see what there is to surprised about :/ It’s either she earned a reputation of a not so good singer, or ppl have very low standards. I have a feeling that the reason they’re “surprised” is because she sang the harmony in tune ?>.> Cuz that is just average singing to my ears– nothing special.

But my god, the vocal standard for J-idol has decreased so much over the decades. I searched up some Candies performance due curiosity from that previous article. But wow, talk about difference in vocal talent. I mean, who would of thought…idols in the past actually had some depth to their voice and “gasp” controlled vibrato?
And why the hell would Music Fair let an AKB member sing Ii Hi Tabidachi? Her vocal is better here than the first one, but still sounds like shit. Such a Jpop classic ruined. Momoe Yamaguchi and Shinji Tanimura would be so disappointed.

Her voice is really powerful, wonderful and great! :D

First of all, talent and sales has nothing to do with each other; Oricon has already proved this. I’m talking vocal talent here, not sales/popularity.
Second, music is indeed subjective. Some people like high pitched voices, while others like to have some depth in the vocal. But there is no denying that this girl lacks standard vocal skills like stable vibrato, and that is a fact (either you have it or not). Simply put, there is no denying that she lacks in the singing department. And I’m not just saying she is average, she is waaay below average (in another word, she sucks). I mean, she doesn’t even have standard vocal skills, can she even call herself a singer? But again, music is subjective and some people like that kind of vocal. But that doesn’t mean she is good, or even average.
