Asahi Broadcasting reported that actor Kodama Kiyoshi (77) was not able to attend the recording of his show, �Panel Quiz Attack 25� on April 1st due to poor health.

On March 30th, his agency contacted the station and requested, �He wants to be absent from his recordings on the 31st due to poor health�. It was granted, and a substitute announcer stood in for him for the April 17th and 24th recordings. The company announced, �We�re waiting for him to recover, when he does then he will return as the host�.

Kodama has also canceled his appearance on the April 9th broadcast of NHKBS Premium�s �Weekly Book Review�.
