On April 7th, the 19th Annual Hashida Awards, presented to television programs which resonate with the hearts of Japanese people, recognized TBS's "99 nen no ai ~ JAPANESE AMERICANS ~", starring SMAP's Kusanagi Tsuyoshi, as its Grand Prize Winner.

Other winners included Fukuyama Masaharu (42), who earned the Hashida Award for his main role in NHK's Taiga drama "Ryomaden", and Matsushita Nao (26) and Mukai Osamu (29), who both received the Best Newcomer Award for their roles as the married couple in "GeGeGe no Nyobo".

The awards ceremony will be held on May 10th at the Tokyo Nishi Waseda Rihga Royal Hotel.
