Last year, McDonald's Japan held their "Voice of McDonald's", a contest similar to America's "American Idol", only these contestants are McDonald's employees.

The winner of that title was half Japanese-American and ex-employee, Alice. After winning the 2010 title with an original song "Ichiban-boshi" (which was also her debut single), she was signed to SME Records (Sony).

Since then, the R&B singer-songwriter has released a total of four singles, including her lastest one, "moving on", which was released yesterday on June 8th. The song is the opening theme song to Fuji TV drama, "Namae wo nakushita Megami".
