Kubota Toshinobu to collaborate with EXILE's ATSUSHI for upcoming album

It has been revealed that Kubota Toshinobu's upcoming album "Gold Skool" will include a collaboration track titled "Golden Smile" with EXILE's vocalist�ATSUSHI.�Although Kubota has collaborated with many female artists, such as MISIA, Naomi Campbell, as well as a rapper KREVA, this will be his first collaboration with a male vocalist.

In March of 2007, Kubota and ATSUSHI first co-stared with each other for the tribute event "MTV iCON Kubota Toshinobu", in which many artists covered Kubota's�masterpieces. They then met again for an interview for magazine "Monthly EXILE" in December of 2009. �When they met for the second time, they gave an impromptu performance, in which Kubota sang and ATSUSHI played the piano, and promised to complete the song someday.�Their collaboration track, "Golden Smile", will be a love song, and the two have were said to have continuously discussed its lyrics, melody, and arrange until they were satisfied.

Kubota's album "Gold Skool" is set to be released on August 3rd.



On a side note, Kubota will be celebrating his 25th year�anniversary�on June 21st since his debut.
