allkpop

On July 21st, GACKTs 7-man band YELLOW FRIED CHICKENz (YFC) kicked off their European tour WORLD TOUR SHOW UR SOUL.I Sekai show your soul sai with a live performance at the LE BATACLAN theater in Paris. Nearly 1,000 fans gathered from all over Europe to show their support.

YELLOW FRIED CHICKENz is comprised of 7 members: GACKT (Vocals), JON (Vocals), YOU (Guitar), CHACHAMARU (Guitar), TAKUMI (Guitar), U:ZO (Bass), and SHINYA (Drums). Their theme is Shaping up weak men, and they debuted in March of last year at a live performance limited to Otoko, or the members of their fanclub.

For their first performance, the group sang 13 songs with enthusiasm, including THE END OF THE DAY", plus 5 new songs that were composed by the members of YFC themselves. GACKTs solo single Episode.0 was performed as well, which also happened to rank in 3rd place on the July 25th Oricon Weekday Char.

Fans went into a screaming frezy when GACKT and JON danced in sync; the wildly enthusiastic pair then ripped the buttons off their shirts before throwing them aside.

GACKT also spoke about the rushed rehearsals that took place last minute before their first performance, since they just added new members a month before. Because of the lack of time, I honestly thought that getting things in order (for the tour) would be a problem. I saw various problems.

With a glance of confidence, he further stated that, YFC still has many areas for improvement and from here on out, I have the conviction that we will deliver a much greater impression and mature (as a group).

He also outlined his hopes for the future, saying, Presently, I think we first have to strengthen our grounding, and then firmly polish YFCs underlying strength by turning towards Japan. I want everyone to look forward to this.

YFC's Japanese performances will begin on September 14th at Zepp Tokyo, and then end on November 6th in Chibas Makuhari Messe; their tour in Japan will have a total of 19 performances in 9 cities. The group plans to tour in Asia in November, then South America in January of next year, before heading off to North America in February.

Lastly, there are plans for a live broadcast via Nico Nico Douga" of their performance in Berlin on August 3rd at 2:30 AM JST.
