Aoi Yu films a CM without a script for Calbee’s “Potato Chips”!

Starting on September 5th, actress Aoi Yu’s new CM for Calbee’s “Potato Chips” will air on TVs across the nation.
Titled “Aketara, Hajimaru. Tabi e Hen (Usushio)” (“Open it, it Begins. Vacation Edition (Lightly Salted)”), the CM features the actress taking a train with her friends as they vacation in the countryside. The CM shows off her natural charms, as she laughs loudly, takes pictures, and strikes up fun conversations — all of which makes one feel as if they were on a vacation with her as well.
The shoot was actually held in a moving train which went through the phenomenal background of Tochigi prefecture.
Furthermore, the producers did not provide a script for the actress, so she just went with the flow to deliver as much of her natural behavior as possible. Apparently, her acting was so good in this CM that the filming went smoother than expected.
Aoi commented, “I think you can truly see the ‘real me’, since it is rare to show this side on camera. I also think this is the first time I filmed a CM without a script. Please look forward to seeing a CM that you have never seen it before.”
