it’s just the same as the original, but in Japanese *shrugs*
still the only K-pop group I love

This is the song that’s been trending on Twitter…? Like really…? (despite it was Korean doesn’t matter) but I dunno I think people just get crazy over any song released by their favs even if it sounds generic & repetitive… I bet this song could’ve been done by anyone else who wasn’t popular & no one would care…. not trying to be mean but… yeah… just being bluntly honest. I guess songs aren’t meant to be special.. they’re only special when sung by specific people…

    That being said… meh… (oh no I guess I’m a h8r now because I don’t like it…) All it is a club/dance song… like the background music in the club…

I also hated the song, but music is subjective some people like repetitive club beats and there’s nothing wrong with that.

And of course having a big following helps.

  • MinahMyu

Yeah I know (I like some trance-y clubby songs too.. though I don’t dance ;_;) but I dunno the way people were going on about the song (like it was OMG SUJU released their new song OMG!!!!!!! Whoooh it’s awesome!!!!) it really didn’t sound different than some other songs of theirs… (I guess to me it was over-hyped…) still though I think if the song was made by some nobody I have a feeling it wouldn’t be liked as much.

    -edit- It’s my fault for falling for the hype.. I forget that of course fans will hype up everything their favs do -__- There’s nothing wrong with… not liking something ;_;

Nothing interesting.. at all but I bet it will still get #1-3 on Oricon because of their international fans and their own company back in Korea bulk buying it just to increase its sales like what happened with Shoujo Jidai’s Japanese album earlier this year. Nevertheless, Oricon doesn’t really determine popularity all the time so hope that they all have fun trying to get #1 in that chart.

The PV is exactly the same. And Japanese is still horrible. Bleh.
It’s being released in 2 months too… Why release a teaser so soon?

    It’s interesting…

LOL at their Japanese and the PV is ditto of the Korean version. But, still kinda catchy.

  • Anonymous

Like me. I cannot believe I am listening to this song. Oh my god someone save me but I can’t help it, the beat is catchy, but their Japanese oh god. I still feel like I’m listening to the Korean version.

  • Anonymous

They’ll need all the teasers and promotions if they’re going to release it on December 7..

  • Sakiki

OMG how many are them? 48?
they are like the male version of AKB or whut? LOL

  • Kinder-Surprise

lol me too!(ayu’s M above and beyond cyber trance mix is my dancing jam xD) but the success of most songs in the kpop industry has to do with what record company you come from :/

  • brontesaurus

My point was the date is ages away; they don’t need to start promoting yet.

  • brontesaurus

I counted 10 ^^. I do believe some have left the group since this PV was recorded though.

  • Anonymous

The male equivalent of AKB48 in Korea is A Peace XP not as popular tho.

  • http://twitter.com/jacciez ジャック

Its the same as the korean version’s PV right? Just tt it is in Jpn now?

  • Anonymous

There is no idol group in Korea that is close to the same number of members as AKB48. A-Peace is a boy band with 21 members which is the only group which has the most members in Korea. Super Junior has 13 members originally but I think they have 10 members for this MV

  • Boya-monkae

I”ll admit although there isn’t much change to the mv, the song actually seem to suit Japanese. Kinda like TVXQ keep you head down sounded pretty good in Japanese as well.

  • martian

Only 10 were active for this album, 1 went into a lawsuit with SM, another left for the army last year and another chose to remain in the group as an inactive member to persue acting. Currently, Heecul who is in this MV somewhere recently went into army so he will be inactive in the group for about 2 years. So for the next year it should be about only 9 active members for promotions  :) The PV is like … exactly the same as the korean version which explains why heechul is still here. They probably also recorded japanese and korean at same time cause Heechul was planning to go into the army for a while already before that

lol you have no idea how many ELFs are in denial about HOW INCREDIBLY underwhelming this song was when it was released. It sounds exactly the same as bonamana, which sounded like an indian version of Sorry, Sorry which was the #1 hit that catapalted them to international fame… after having debuted for 4 years of being not as incredibly famous as they are now. I mean if you hear the members do covers of other songs, they have incredible talent, but the songs they are given to promote commercial sound the same as their previous songs. Can’t deny that it is actually really really catchy… but … just sounds the same as their previous songs which is blerh. I wish they are given … better songs to promote.

Basically, like you said, the songs they release commerically are only winning awards and only being bought becuase THEY ARE SUPER JUNIOR. Not cause the songs are good. Unlike SNSD, who seems to be getting a song that actually showcases growth each time, SUJU is stuck in this cycle that is trying I suppose to imitate their success from Sorry, Sorry.

  • brontesaurus

Thanks :) Idk much about Kpop lols

  • martian

@brontesaurus lol no problems mate, I know a lot more about recent kpop than jpop unfortunately, so where jpop is concerned you would be able to inform whenever needed! I got out of the jpop scene just before AKB48 became big, so I never really saw their rise to stardom so i only know things that happened around 08/09 and anything past that I am oblivious too

@6th-6913ad0c30493564557099e6da52936a:disqus yes I am Australian :P usually never use “mate” but it seemed appropriate at the time ahah you? ahahha I am not into j-idol music at all and don’t think I will be D: but I listen to other bands and artists I still remember and like that were either pretty popular in 08/09 or were just coming out i.e. greeen, yuna ito (dunno where she went these days),YUI,  Mihimaru, krystal. Most of my tastes usually comes out of the promotional music used for anime since that was what got me into everything else :D Might take me a while to get back into it since the only reason I am here is because the comments section here are way way way more survivable than akp and like lol I find decent conversation here! and pretty good discussions about relevant topics.

Ah I see… Well I’m mainly into idol music D:. I’ve looked at some other stuff but I don’t like it as much :/ I still have heaps more to find though.

I like the comments here too ^^ I like being able to talk to people about this stuff :3 especially since no one I talk to irl is into any asian music at all -_-.

are they like…gonna turn every of their latests music to Japanese?

  • martian

I’M FROM SYDNEY WOOHOOO hello :3 ahha Idk why I don’t like idol music :S I mean i actually find kpop idol music bearable as are their ballads but the rock and RnB seem is like… not existent to international fans because kpop is the main focus, but with Jpop, I love their rock, rnb genres cause they actually have a fanbase one can easily find and music that is accessible. I mean Greeen is amazing, and Soulja whenever he goes from ganster rapper (didn’t like that music) to RnB (which is amazing, he should stay there forever and ever annd ever), and M-flo was amazing too!! but dammit wish they would release some new material, even though their old material never ever gets old. But these are the really well known bands I am pretty sure, I don’t remember a few gotta look through my music archives. Havn;t been downloading any music lately so my music is like … soo from 2010 LOL

  • brontesaurus

I thought you forgot about this comment :O lol. I’m from Sydney too! *hi-5s* I’m from the north western suburbs, like the hills and stuffs. What about you? I like idol music ;_; from both sides. Jpop is cute and Kpop is catchy. I may have to look more up about the bands you said haha. I’ve heard of them but idk any of their songs! T_T got any recommendations for me? Haha

  • martian

nom I’m from a hole in the inner western suburbs, like stratty line. ahahah Jpop feed the variety in me that I crave in music, they are just different? Kpop do really good ballads though try youtubing Baek Ji young – That woman (omg its so amazing) hmm M-flo let go (pretty old but still on of their best songs ever). Greeeen – Kiseki. Soulja ft Aoyama Thelma – soba ni iru ne (and the reply song, it was the most downlaoded song of 2009 i think it rose to the charts REALLY REALLY quick and put aoyama thelma on the map as the must-see RnB singer of the year) Mind you though these are all pretty old songs HAHAH the recent song soulja x issa – I hate you is pretty good. Rewrite by Asian Kungfu Generation was really really really good!

  • brontesaurus

Ah kk. A hole? Lols I’m sure it’s not that bad :P my mum’s from around there. I am about to go to bed actually :/ but I will definitely youtube those songs tomorrow! Lol.

  • martian

lol I should as well but yerh LOL got uni work to do that I’ve put off for the entire day I’ve been up -__- AHAH not a hole persay but parts of the west have bad stereotyped reputations, especially among asian parents sometimes LOL you know cabramatta and their infamous drugs, bankstown and their gangstes, well where I live its like normal to hear helicopters overhead and like .. shootings every week :P its not as dangerous as most people think maybe its cause i live there, but you know the stereotypes of those areas HAHAHA anyway goodnight to you! was a good conversation, lol on both threads

  • brontesaurus

@6th-3b9e905f86b4ae250a18aa356f30b003:disqus Hahaha! Dw I procrastinate too ^^. But I’m only in high school :3 starting year 12 in a few days D:. Ah I get what you mean ;). You can hear shootings every week? :O I’d be really scared lol. Night night, same to you :)

Why you keep using your circular argument??

I said “statment of facts” is NOT necessary since no one seriously thought they were 48.

and your response is “I´m stating facts” when I´ve already told it´s not necessary since no one here thought otherwise.
it´s like if I had the need to state the fact that sky is blue. Useless, everyone knows that
