Aimer to cover Lady Gaga for new single

Previously, we reported that new singer Aimer will be releasing her second single, “Re:pray / Sabishikute Nerenai Yoru wa“, on December 14th. Now, its been revealed that the single will include a cover of Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face“!

The song is already featured in Aimer’s “Your favorite things“, a cover album that she released during her indies era. She received rave reviews from the fans after performing the song during a live broadcast on USTREAM, which led her to include it in her new single.

Aimer teamed up with agehasprings and made her major debut in September with the single, “Rokutousei no Yoru / Kanashimi Aurora ni / TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR“.

    YAY new Aimer!!! I love her voice, it’ll turn any song into something eerily beautiful.
    Heck, she could probably do a cover on RB’s Friday and still sound totoally awesome.
