On February 22nd, D☆DATE held a release event for their latest single ‘JOKER‘ at the Shinjuku Balto 9, where they announced that they’ll be releasing their first album in April. The boys will also launch a second live tour in June.

After showing their short movie, “JOKER”, on a large screen, the boys held an interview with the crowd. Commenting on their new single, leader Araki Hirofumi said, “There was pressure because we released singles for two consecutive months, but I’m happy we were able to peacefully see the arrival of the release day.” Seto Koji added, “I think the single turned out to be a trump card for us.”

The boys went on to reveal details about their first album, entitled ‘1st DATE‘. Scheduled to hit stores on April 1st, the album will contain a total of 13 tracks, five of which will be from the group’s singles.

Meanwhile, D☆DATE’s live tour will be called “D☆DATE 2nd Tour“. For this tour, the boys will hold concerts in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka in June. Tickets will go on sale starting April 29th.
