Yoshitaka Yuriko and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu attend ‘ORICON Valentine Festa’
On February 7th, actress Yoshitaka Yuriko and model/singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu attended the Valentine’s Day event, “ORICON Valentine Festa 2012“.
As this was their first time meeting, Kyary revealed her thoughts on the actress saying, “Yoshitaka-san was always a mystery watching her on TV, but she’s a mystery in person as well.” In response, Yoshitaka whispered, “Kyary-san is the same.”
Oricon conducted a survey asking 350 teenage girls who their favorite actress and celebrity was. Yoshitaka topped both categories, and was chosen as this year’s ‘Valentine Queen 2012 Grand Prix’.
Meanwhile, Kyary ranked first in the ‘Favorite Female Model’ category. Dressed in an outfit with chocolate drawn around her waist, she performed her latest single, “Tsukema Tsukeru“.
Yoshitaka, who wore a red dress to represent bitter chocolate, shared a bitter Valentine’s Day story from her past. In elementary school, she missed her chance of giving chocolate to the boy she liked. “I gave some to my dad saying, ‘I had leftovers, I’ll give them to you,’ and he yelled at me.”
Regarding her ideal Valentine’s Day date, Yoshitaka said, “I want to spend a mature Valentine’s with chocolate and whiskey.”
