It's been revealed that former punk rock band Midori member Goto Mariko will be making her solo debut. She will be releasing her first album, '299792458', on July 25th.

The recording for this album started after Goto's event�Don't Disturb Me!!, which was held on December 27th at Shibuya O-EAST. "299792458" is read as "Goto Mariko", and it will�contain a total of 9 tracks including "Atashi no Shoudou" and "U-chan". It's described as a cute pop album that features Goto's talented vocals.

Additionally, Goto will be appearing at various live events during June and July. Starting in August, she will also be starring in the rock musical 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch' as Moriyama Mirai's partner.
