On May 5th, popular 5-member idol group Momoiro Clover Z held a special Children's Day concert called "Momoclo no Kodomo Matsuri Dayo! Zenin Shugo" in Toda, Saitama.

The concert was once again fully loaded with unique performances, many parodies, and various comedic plays featuring comedian Izuka Satoshi from the comedy trio TOKYO03.

At the end of the concert, the girls also finally officially announced that the coupling track "MiteMite?KoCchiCchi" from their upcoming single (still untitled)will be featured as the new ending theme of the TV anime 'Pokmon: Best Wishes!', and the upcoming Pokmon movie "Meloetta no kirakira recital(Meloetta's Sparkling Recital)".

A press conference was held just before the concert, during which member Takagi Reni commented, "Finally, the pseudo idols that look like us will become prepared for the two year-end shows 'Toshiwasure Nippon no Uta' and 'NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen' by singing the ending theme of a national anime. Everyone, look forward to it."

Momota Kanako added, "It makes me really happy that we get to sing the ending theme of a national anime. Since there's already a national idol group, I'd like us to become the 'national pseudo girls' (laughs)."

Tamai Shiori commented on the song, saying, "It's a song that can be sung along by little kids, and since the choreography is suited for everyone as well, it would be great if the little kids danced along with us."

"I personally think that little kids aren't getting enough exercise these days, that's why we wanted to create a dance that is like an exercise for them. It would definitely be great if we could all dance and train our bodies together," shared Momota.

Their wish came true as soon as they performed the song with the two Pokmon charactersPikachu and Meloetta, for all the kids in the audience immediately tried to mimic their energetic dance.

Like countless other Pokmon songs, "MiteMite?KoCchiCchi" was written by Toda Akihito and composed by Tanaka Hirokazu.

Momoiro Clover Z's new single will be released on June 27th.
