Idol group Dorothy Little Happy has announced that they will be releasing a new single titled "Tobidase! Summertime" on July 11th.

The Sendai-based idol group got their chance during their appearance at the large-scale idol event "TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2011 Eco & Smile", where they captured the hearts of idol fans and broadened their popularity to a national scale. "Tobidase! Summertime" will be their first single in about half a year, and is said to be an energetic number that will get you pumped, just like the title suggests. The coupling track for the single will be a recording of the song "Namida Yori mo Zutto Tooku".

The single will be available in three different versions: Type-A (CD+DVD), Type-B (CD+DVD), and Type-C (CD-only). The DVD included with Type-A features the music video for the title track, while the Type-B DVD will contain a behind-the-scenes video of the idol group. The music video for "Tobidase! Summertime" was shot in one take, with the girls' powerful dancing as a vital point of their PV.
