On July 15th, GLAY's TERU and TAKURO held an acoustic live for disaster victims at a hotel in Minamisanriku, Miyagi.
TERU and TAKURO appeared without prior notice, exciting the local guests who were invited to the live. TERU called out, "Minamisanriku!", and sang a total of 5 songs including "Ikiteku Tsuyosa" and "Bible".
"It's important to have a strong determination to change your own environment at your own will," the two expressed, and promised, "We believe that music can enrich people's hearts. We hope to become someone's support through music. We will surely come back to Tohoku as GLAY."After the live, TERU and TAKURO met with the disaster victims and took commemorative photos with them.
This live was a part of Glico's project with the radio program, 'Yamada Hisashi no Radiunlimited F'. Since May of last year, a Glico wagon, filled with Glico goods, has been traveling to disaster areas to deliver music and snacks. Details from this live is scheduled to broadcast through the program on July 20th.
