'Itsuka Hi no Ataru Basho de' (NHK)

Plenty of improvement was recorded during the first half of this week. The biggest winners in terms of season-average ratings are once again the two NHK dramas ‘Itsuka Hi no Ataru Basho de‘ (NHK) and ‘Shotenin Michiru no Minoue Banashi‘ (NHK), which both recorded their highest ratings of the season. Other dramas that also polished their ratings quite a bit were ‘Apoyan‘ (TBS), ‘Saikou no Rikon‘ (Fuji TV), ‘Hancho 6‘ (TBS), and the midnight drama ‘Otasukeya Jinpachi‘ (NTV).

The biggest improvements compared to the previous week were recorded by ‘Apoyan’ (TBS) with 1.3%, ‘Saikou no Rikon’ (Fuji TV) with 1.2%, and ‘Otasukeya Jinpachi’ (NTV) with 1.3%. Of course the highest rating was recorded by the long-running ‘Aibou season11‘ (TV Asahi) with 16.7%. It was followed by the regular winter drama ‘Saikou no Rikon’ (Fuji TV) that recorded a rating of 12.9% this week.

‘Last Hope‘ (Fuji TV) once again topped the list of losers of this week’s first half with another big drop in terms of season-average. ‘Biblia Koshodo no Jiken Techo‘ (Fuji TV) also experienced a little decline again this week. The biggest drop in terms of episode-ratings was recorded by ‘Share House no Koibito‘ (NTV), which lost 2.5% compared to its surprisingly high ratings in the previous week.

(NTV is the only network that still discloses all of their ratings on a daily base. If anything, the other networks only reveal the ratings for their dramas regularly.)
