On April 17th, former AKB48 member Maeda Atsuko attended the opening ceremony to commemorate the 60th anniversary of fashion brand, 'Chlo', at Isetan Shinjuku Store.
Maeda attempted to cut the tape, but failed as she was unable to use the scissors. While the tape was being cut, she showed a troubled expression and asked for help from the people around her.
On this day, Maeda wore a Chlo dress worth about 700,000 yen (about $ 7,121.06 USD). She held a talk show with the brand's creative director Clare Waight Keller. As this was her first time meeting Claire, Maeda expressed, "I want to become a cute and cool woman like her!" She also gave advice on popular spots in Japan, saying, "I like fashion, so I often go to Omotesando. I recommend Omotesando."
'Chlo' is a fashion brand that was founded in Paris back in 1952. To commemorate the brand's 60th anniversary, Isetan Shinjuku Store will be holding an event called '60years of Chloe' featuring things like anexhibition archive.
