Ex-Hello!Project member Okada Yui to retire from entertainment industry

Okada Yui will temporarily(?) retire from the entertainment industry on June 30th. Yui was a member of Hello!Project group v-u-den(Biyuuden) which disbanded in 2008.

On June 23rd, Yui's retirement was announced. According to Yui, she wants to study fashion & beauty. She said, "I really liked when hair and makeup made me pretty, and I started loving putting make up on other people. I thought making people beautiful was wonderful, so I decided to study this field."

Yui also said to fans,"I am very happy and honored that I met you. I will look forward to seeing you again."
