Gachapin is a character from Fuji TV's children's program. �He is supposed be a dinosaur, and is usually accompanied by his friend, Mukku(Yeti).

Anyway, Gachapin has the most amount of followers on twitter in Japan, which is 485,000(as of 6/23). �He was losing to the former prime minister of Japan, Mr. Hatoyama, but took eventually took his position back as No.1 in Japan.
