Gachapin is a character from Fuji TV's children's program. He is supposed be a dinosaur, and is usually accompanied by his friend, Mukku(Yeti).

Anyway, Gachapin has the most amount of followers on twitter in Japan, which is 485,000(as of 6/23). He was losing to the former prime minister of Japan, Mr. Hatoyama, but took eventually took his position back as No.1 in Japan.

Shall we say he is "the most popular idol" in Japan?
