Iconiq promotes with TOKYO LADY

Pop singer Iconiq, has started promotions for her new single "TOKYO LADY." The release was originally planned for July, but ended up getting pushed back until now. Fans will find the wait worth their while though, as the single is finally out in limited copies with the "one-coin" price of 500 yen (about 5 USD).

Avex's teaser for the single certainly matches Iconiq's image as a unique trendsetter in Japan. The video pictures her in different retro themed outfits and sporting a surprising amount of hair, considering the singer's original marketing with her shaved head.

"TOKYO LADY" was selected as the MAQuillAGE makeup line's theme song and was also selected for the a-nation concert. Iconiq has already started her promotions for the single with interviews in magazines (JJ, Anecan, Numero Tokyo), radio guest spots, and her main stage act at the a-nation concert tour. Despite the fact that the single is being released in such small quantities, it is definitely looking like a busy fall for Iconiq.
