Last July, comedian Nakagawa Tsuyoshi was hospitalized with acute pancreatitis, putting comedy group Nakagawake on official hiatus. There's good news though, as Nakagawa was recently released from the hospital on the 27th and has been receiving home care. With Nakagawa on the mend, Nakagawake's agency, Yoshimoto Creative, announced today that the duo will make their comeback on September 2 at the Lumine-the-Yoshimoto comedy stage.
Nakagawa commented, "I will continue my dedication to comedy and am grateful for your continued support and encouragement."
Lumine-the-Yoshimoto is an exclusive comedy show held in Shinjuku's Lumine2 building. Tickets are limited, and the performers are considered Japan's best. Nakagawake is slated to perform in the third round on September 2nd at 7 pm.
