hide's hits re-released on vinyl spawns special club events
Deceased X-JAPAN member hide has shown his lasting presence in the music world ever since he passed away over ten years ago, and that certainly isn't stopping now. On December 8th, four of his greatest hits will be re-released as 12 inch vinyls, much to the delight of fans and DJs everywhere.
The special releases of hide's works on vinyl started back in April and August, when several of his other classic hits were released in analog. In December, the analog releases will finish up with "ROCKET DIVE," "Pink Spider," "ever free," and "HURRY GO ROUND," bringing the total analog releases up to eleven. These pressings are extremely limited, so fans will have to scramble to get collectable releases.
DJs in particular have been excited over the releases of hide's work in an analog format they can use and special club events have been spawned just to play music from the rocker. It will be hosted in November as "CLUB PSYENCE" and will happen in three clubs in Japan. The event will specialize in music produced by hide and old hide with Spread Beaver member, iNA, will make a special guest appearance at the shows.
Next March and April, the "Pink Spider" rock musical using hide's music will open, giving fans even more to be excited about.
