Due to poor health, mangaka Minekura Kazuya will go on an indefinite hiatus, reports the November issue of Monthly Comic Zero-Sum. Minekura Kazuya is the well-known mangaka of popular series 'Gensomaden Saiyuki', and is still working on its sequels.
Minekura had a�hysterectomy�a while ago, and has had follow-ups every now and then. It was revealed that she may have to undergo surgery, although the exact health problem has not been fully confirmed. As it stands, the mangaka will find it difficult�to maintain her current work schedule. In other words, �Saiyuki fans will not be getting any update about the manga soon.
However, fans need not worry for the present time, as the mangaka is still working on the series before her imminent hiatus.
