Elvis lives, most recently in southern Japan, where the owner of Salon Elvis, Shinichi Takeda, has gathered more than 1000 items related to Elvis Presley, including a prized stuffed animal that the King gave to Japanese music critic, Reiko Yukawa.
Visitors can relax and enjoy Presley records while browsing the memorabilia. The salon is situated in Fukuoka's Hataka Ward, and it will be open to the public every Monday through Saturday, noon to 6 pm, until September 2011.
The entrance fee is 1000 yen.
