After announcing the release of her second single collection album, "Utada Hikaru Single Collection Vol. 2", and her upcoming hiatus thereafter, Utada Hikaru has just announced another treat for fans: a two-day concert series in Yokohama Arena, called "WILD LIFE".
The multi-million selling artist, who has not been on tour in Japansince 2006's "Utada United", will hold the two concerts on December the 8th and 9th. The dates hold significanceas she made her debut on December 9th, 12 years ago with 'Automatic.' Fans will be able to obtain tickets through a lottery system, and have a chance of entering to win ticketsby purchasing thefirst press edition of the newalbum as well.
Utada's cover of "Hymne a l'amour", released as the first digital single from the upcoming second disc of the single collection, recently snatched the #1 spot on the iTunes charts. Furthermore, it was recently announced on twitter by Teruzane Utada, father of the star, that her American "In The Flesh" Tour from earlier this year will be released in some form in coming months.
