On November 24th, classic punk group Kikeiji will finally release their first original album, "Atama wo Marume de Imasugu Shukkeshiro! Nenbutsu Tonaete Mizukara wo Houmure!", after an almost 30 year long "hiatus".
The band was formed back in 1982 for just a year, despite being together for only a short time they quickly became one of the representatives of the 80s punk movement in the Japanese underground. They reunited in 2008 for the second time with vocalist YASU, guitarist HIROSHI (ex-Bachikaburi, ex-Kinniku Shoujotai), Bassist Tsuji (High Technology Sucide), Proletariat Honmani on keyboards (Koro-KILL-, Douryoku Tetsu Pipe), and drummer Sudoh Toshiaki (ex- MELT-BANANA LOUDS).
This work will be their first full original album in 28 years, and will have twelve brand new tracks. Their work can best be described as hardcore with a very unique sound.
